Greetings Vince and Cindy from your old buddy Casey here in Edmonton, Alberta, the land of the frozen chosen. I do have to say right from the get-go that Sharon and I really regret that we can't join you at at this event but we're there with you in spirit. But I just have to reminisce a bit and and I recall meeting you back in I think was 1992 at a Promise Keepers event in Boulder, Colorado. We kind of hit it off and your passion for ministering to men was just so evident to me and I just picked up on that and you introduced me to so many of the men who were involved in men's ministries like Dave Wardell, Chuck Stecker and a whole bunch of those men ministering to men. And one thing I particularly have to thank you for is that it was your influence along with Promise Keepers that truly discipled me because at that point in my Christian walk I really didn't even know what discipleship meant but you showed me, you exemplified it and for that I'll ever be thankful.
But I also have very fond memories of the times we had you up here ministering to our men at men's retreats, at seminars that we've had even at the Bible College here in Edmonton and at marriage events. Your influence, your impact has been very very significant and for that we just thank God for you and your ministry. So although I'm not there with you right now I am there with you in spirit and I would just like to say in closing that I am just tremendously blessed to be able to say that you are not only my friend but you're my brother and you're my colleague in ministry and for that I just praise God for it. So you have a great time at your event this evening and I will continue to pray for your ministry and for great things to come in the future. God bless you, Finns.
