Control Your Anger: Simple Steps for a Peaceful Life
Words hurt. Okay, so what should we do? The idea here is that we need to control our anger. The Bible says in Proverbs 20 and 11, a fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man says what? Keeps himself under control.
Proverbs 16 and 32. Better a patient man than a warrior. A man who controls his temper than one who takes a city. So listen, let me finish this by talking about what I believe are three important keys to controlling our anger. Key number one is, listen, bring it to God now.
Bring it to who? Bring it to God. That verse that says, in your anger do not sin, Ephesians 4-26, do not let the Son go down while you're still angry. Listen men, that is not a license to go grab the other person before the Son goes down. What that verse is saying to you is, listen, look at me.
You, you deal with your anger before the Son goes down. It has nothing to do with the other person. More of the Men on Target series with Vince Dacchioli at OTM.co.
