God’s Your Spotter: How Trials Build Strength #shorts

In the sport of bodybuilding, there's something called a bench press, and you all know what that looks like. There's a guy pressing weight, laying down on a bench, and behind a bench presser there's typically a man called a spotter. A spotter's job is when you're done pressing the weight, he lifts the weight up, puts it back on the rack. Listen, guys, a certain amount of weight combined with a certain number of repetitions is good to build a body physically. In the same way, a certain amount of trial and struggle and baggage we carry around, God uses it for our good.

Everybody builds our character, but there comes a time in life when that weight, just like the bodybuilder, becomes crushing. You can try to gut it through one more time, or, listen, you can give it to the big spotter. The idea, guys, is God's are big spotter. More of the Men on Target series with Vince Dacchioli at otm.co.
