All right, everybody Bentley and I are back and we're starting the broadcast all over again I am so sorry for those of you who may have been watching we did about 10 minutes of a broadcast and Realized had I been looking at the comments coming across I would have known this we had no sound so I'm gonna wait Right now to make sure that we do have sound so please whoever may be watching Just to put a comment down there letting me know that you can hear me and I'll continue the broadcast and again I apologize for those of you who are watching trying to pay attention. I mean And here's the bad part guys. Yeah, I'm trying to communicate with you guys with no sound I wasn't even using my hands If I'd have been using my hands at least some of you guys the Italian people out there would have probably understood what I was talking about so anyway, let me just give it a moment and Ask for someone please to write a comment right now and let me know that you can hear me and And then I will feel comfortable in continuing the broadcast But I started the the last broadcast by indicating that I'm just want to ramble with you a little bit today I don't have a particular curriculum that I want to unpack but Rather I want to talk a little bit about the future and where we're going and Encourage you guys a little bit, you know all of these target point broadcasts Oh, I see that my daughter Kristen has just signed on and says yes audio is now on. Thank you so much Chris I appreciate that and there are others of you that were messaging a little while ago that couldn't hear us I hope if you can sign on now and hear us and I'll go ahead and continue but In the future we're going to continue to do these target point broadcasts and the whole purpose is to equip the Saints This these are really designed for people who call themselves followers of Christ for men and women and young people Who truly want to become all that God? Intended them to be so we're going to continue to do these broadcasts We're probably going to be doing them Monday Wednesday and Friday three times a week.
We may change that We may change the times we do them but at the end of the day They're also in an archive on our Facebook public page and also on our YouTube channel So if you're watching from either of those two platforms and you want to get updates on what we're doing all you have to do On the Facebook page you simply like the page and you'll be a follower and you'll get updates And if you're on our YouTube channel, which we're trying to pump even more All you have to do is hit the subscribe button and then in the future you'll get Notifications when we're back up as well so in addition to that if you want to pick up past broadcasts you can scroll down and either of those two platforms and Pick up some of the broadcasts from the past some of them that were reaching 150,000 or more views. It's just been amazing what has been happening. I Apologize for those of you who were looking for us last Friday We were not on and let me tell you why last Friday was Cindy and my 55th I said it right 55th wedding anniversary now, I know I know I know what you're thinking I mean they don't look like they've been married 55 years Well, we were married when we were three so that accounts for that But anyway, we celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful weekend Actually right here in Colorado Springs we had a really nice weekend a nice 4th of July celebration They have a lot of fireworks going on I know in a lot of parts of the country that was not the case Like I tell you we had some powerful powerful prayers going on in our church for safety In our community this weekend and we really believe those prayers were heard by God we had some intel indicating that there were gonna be some very bad people who want to do some very bad things and It turned out to not happen here at least in our city and we really believe that prayer by the way guys moving forward This is gonna be the secret to our future because our pastor Mentioned to us on Sunday and I completely agree with him We've been talking about this as an executive team at our church kind of planning for our future We believe we've probably got a two-month window right now And by September things are going to get a lot worse than even what they have been It is going to get ugly guys because there are a lot of people a lot of powers to be out there that do not Want to see this country continue on the path that is on they don't they don't believe in America anymore They want to tear down our past they want to completely Re-envision what we are moving forward. It's all about being politically correct and Marxism socialism and ultimately communist thought that's where we're headed guys and And I don't believe as a follower of Christ we can tolerate that but our battle is a spiritual battle guys It's not a physical battle even though we may see Civil war in our country. This is not about a physical battle It's about a spiritual battle.
The devil has done an incredibly good job at Discipling our nation in the wrong direction He has taken over every sphere of our culture all the seven mountains and we need to Reinvade those mountains with the love of Jesus if we're ever going to be successful in turning this thing around And it has to begin with our young people on our watch We've allowed decades of Marxist professors to completely brainwash our kids so that we have the All of the stuff that we're seeing On our streets today, it's all the result of being victims and being entitled As opposed to seeing the world through God's view. We've taken God out and we've got to get it back We're getting ready to release another article and I'm going to have my wife write this article because the other night We're in our small group. I had Cindy pray and she prayed a prayer that honestly in 55 years of Being with her. I don't believe I've ever heard her more anointed than she was when she was praying this prayer and She felt like the Lord gave her Three words that she kind of unpacked in this prayer and it was it was profound. It was peace purpose provision peace Purpose provision that's gonna be the title of the article.
We're working on it. We've been working on it for a couple of days Everybody is looking for peace and Pascal said all men are looking for peace even those who hang themselves. We're all looking for peace, but Cindy Really begins to unpack with that. What does the peace of God really look like? Purpose we all want purpose and the idea here moving forward guys is we desperately need the peace of God In order to be able to understand the purpose of God and Begin to appropriate the provision or the power of God to be able to make a difference in our world in our communities And so we'll be unpacking that in this article.
I want you to look forward to to that It should be coming out in the next day or two But as we move forward We really need to be careful and we have to really begin to use our brains and really begin to think because the other side Driven mostly by the media was driven really by our culture our academia the media Arts and entertainment air even big businesses now are trying to pull our thoughts in the direction that they want you to think We actually had a friend of ours not too long ago say these words and it was mind-boggling to me This is a Christian friend Who said and I quote I don't think I could ever vote for Trump because he does not take wearing masks seriously, and I Overheard that and I walked away and I thought are you kidding me? Listen guys, the devil is clever man. He will get you to focus and get you riled up about a single issue It's like a shell game if I can get you to focus on this character assassination All of the all of them the bad things about people that we focus on that you will not look at what's really going on Guys, listen to me the trajectory of our nation could not be more clear The choices could not be more clear if you list them out You begin to see what one side and the other side truly stand for you Don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand this and you don't have to be a theologian All you have to do is look at the list of things That people stand for or party stand for and ask yourself this question Are they biblical or are they not biblical? Are they taking it in a take us in a direction that honors God and it is moving toward God? Or are they trying to take us away from any kind of religious freedom any kind of anything that has to do with understanding?
theology No, my last article which really got went viral probably had over two hundred thousand hits the ideology theology versus ideology I unpack the differences between those two things and So you need to really be thoughtful You really need to think about where we're headed as a nation and then you need to vote appropriately I heard a statistic the other day that there were about 40 Million Christians who are not registered to vote guys I'm sorry man, but I I know that we're that there's this Idea out there that we're supposed to separate ourselves from the world, but that's not what that means We're not we're not to be part of it But we're to do our duty in it We're to pray and we're to be good citizens and we are to vote for people who are gonna bring forth righteousness not chaos not Anarchy, okay, not civil disobedience in our streets because guys this is it's getting ugly So our first order priority is that we need to be in prayer We need to understand the importance of drawing near to God so he can draw near to us so as we move forward We're gonna bring you more and more teaching and information that we hope will help you and guide you in these areas If you like the kind of things that we're sharing Please share them on your platforms and allow them to go to other people that maybe they would be encouraged as well on Wednesday two days from now. I'm going to have a special guest Pastor Al McCoslin is one of our pastors at our church We had him speak a couple of weeks ago and he talked about hunger being hungry for God And I thought he had some really profound things to share and he's an amazing man you're gonna love him I'm gonna interview him on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock And we encourage you to join into that interview because he's gonna talk about being hungry for God so that we can get closer To God why not just to feel nice and warm and fuzzy and really tight with God No The purpose of all of this is that God can use this use us as instruments in his hands To reach out to a dying world And so he's gonna talk about that and give you some very interesting stories and life examples of some of the things that he does and I'll tell you this man has been impacting me I watch him work and And talk to people and how passionate he is for people being all that they can be Really really should be a very informative interview So I want to encourage you to tune in at 10 o'clock and as always these broadcasts will be again Available on our various platforms if you miss it, you can always go back and pick up on it. So I need to encourage you until Wednesday When it comes to all the difficulties and trials that are out there remember the word forget about it forget about it You're all you have to remember about is how wonderful and how gracious Our God is and to just stay focused on him not on the media not on all the negatives Stay focused on God and and my prayer is that you will be blessed and So thank you for tuning in this has been a short one today But I'm pointing you toward the future and I really would love to have your comments I'd love to have you email us and let us know if there may be some subjects or some topics that you want us to talk about Or some concerns or fears that you want us to address that you may be experiencing We'd love to have your comments and love to address those as we move forward well until Wednesday may God richly bless you Thank you so much for tuning in and have a great great next couple of days See you soon
