Vince NCMM 20th

This is On Target with Vince D'Acchioli. Hello men, how you doing? Vince D'Acchioli here coming to you from our studios in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I wanted to take a moment to say hello to my friends at the NCMM on this occasion of your special conference. As one of the original guys that met way back at the Cove 20 years ago, I wanted to share three things that have really struck me over the years that are very, very special.

The first is that the Cove experience was one of the most unbelievable ones I've ever had. The supernatural spirit of humility and intense desire to see American men discipled was overwhelming. For me, it was the high water mark in my life and in our ministry. The second thing is I wanted to encourage you to pray for God to duplicate that original spirit at this time and in your conference. We are desperate today for a renewed spirit of cooperating and working together in order to see our mission through.

And then finally, a reminder to all of us that our ability to succeed and ultimately the effectiveness of our ministries are only as good as the hands that extend it. What does that mean? Well, more than ever, God is looking for leaders like you and me that are going to take their relationship with him and listen, their responsibilities that he's called us to, very seriously. The current election cycle has given us a glimpse of how desperately we need revival in our nation. You and I know that it will not happen without first reaching our men and we also know that it is always preceded by repentance.

Before I leave you, some special people I want to thank and I know I'll probably be missing many. But as I look back at those early days and the people who influenced my life, I am so grateful. The late Dr. Ed Cole, such a special, special man. Pat Morley, Steve Farrar, Ron Roberts, Phil Downer.

Chris Van Brocklin, my buddy Leonard Albert, who we shared a lot of emceeing time with over the years. I tell people that he's the only man I know that could keep a cup of coffee awake. And a special shout out to my buddy Dan Erickson. Dan, I know you're there and I want to tell you, you're the best. I am deeply sorry that my schedule will not allow me to be with you guys and I pray that God demonstrates his incredible grace and that you experience his presence in your midst as you plan and partner together to reach and disciple the men of our nation.

May God richly bless you, my dear friends and co-laborers in the battle for the souls of men.
